In-the-Canal (ITC) hearing aids are custom-made to fit in the ear canal making them a comfortable and snug fit. A smaller portion of the hearing aid showing in the outer ear, making them visible. In-the-Canal (ITC) devices tend to hold a powerful microphone, amplifier, and receiver all in a small shell.

Another form of this style is Completely-in-Cana (CIC) hearing aids, which are inserted deeper into the canal and contain a small transparent antenna for easy removal.

Important notes and features
  • For mild to mildly severe hearing loss.
  • Extraction cords can be fitted to help insert and remove them from the ear.
  • Ideal for somebody who has limited dexterity and reduced vision.
  • Dual-microphones help to improve speech understanding in noise.
  • Work loose whilst talking and chewing, especially if you have a straight and inclined ear canal shape.
